This page explains what information Event Program Generator ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It covers our own collection of data through this website — not every fact about content that a program's owner chooses to publish, which is covered separately below.
We don't sell your information to anyone.
If you manage a program, the roster names, photos, and other details you add are provided by you, not collected by us directly from the people they describe. You're responsible for having whatever permission is appropriate before publishing that content — this matters especially for photos and names of minors, which many programs on this platform include (team rosters, school events). This service is intended to be used by adults (coaches, team managers, event organizers) managing a program on behalf of their group; we don't knowingly collect information directly from children through this site.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a CSRF token cookie to protect form submissions — both required for the site to function, not tracking. If Google Ads or Google Analytics is active on a given page (see below), Google's own tag may also set cookies to measure ad performance and site usage.
We run ads through Google Ads. When you arrive from one of our ads and later create an account, Google's tag records that as a conversion so we can tell whether the ad worked — this includes a hashed version of your email address ("enhanced conversions"), which Google uses only to match that signup to the ad click, not to identify you to us. This only happens on pages that load the Google tag, and only if you actually complete registration.
We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic and usage — things like which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which devices/browsers people use. This is aggregate usage data, not tied to your individual identity, and is separate from the advertising measurement described above.
We keep your account and program data for as long as your account exists. There isn't yet a self-service way to delete your own account from within the app; if you'd like your account or program data removed, ask whoever administers the platform for your organization to do it on your behalf.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
